We’ve spent all summer speaker humping the fuck out of Relish Recordings reissue of the imperious High Pressure Days by The Units and playing the Rory Phillips remix at every given opportunity (bus drivers are big fans)
Given The Units bedraggled appearance after several months of speakerhumping it’s timely that Relish are on the cusp of releasing a taste of what to expect in the future from the label.
Due soon is the Relish Sampler EP which gives you, the attentive listener, a snatch of sound from Headman’s forthcoming album, a chance to reacquaint yourselves with Dutch fancy dans David Gilmour Girls (not seen since their 2007 album) and further evidence of The C90s production talents.
Of the three tracks it’s Headman’s Random Disco thats got us doing the disco pogo in our pumps the most.
The Relish Sampler EP drops on September 21st

The Units track is called High Pressure Days.
