In January our label Hot Pockets will be unleashing upon the world the debut EP from the South coasts answer to Michael MacDonald :Kinema:. Undoubtedly this will be one of those occassions where the stars and planets align and pop gods are born.

To fully grease your weasle in anticipation of this momentous day the band popped into the studio to lay down their version of Animal Collective’s ‘My Girls’. The results were as overpoweringly erotic as expected and rather try to keep them contained like a lust crazed electro-pop succubus in a Ghostbusters style containment hardrive, they wanted to make it available right away.

The band are putting together a video for the track and want YOU to be in it. Follow the five easy steps below to achieve INTERNET IMMORTALITY.

1) Download the Animal Collective – My Girl cover from the link above. Using iMovie and your iSight camera (if you on a PC that’s cool just use whatever the equivalent is) film yourself dancing to the track.

2) You can dance, narrate a scene, wear masks, fancy dress, anything really but please keep it clean.

3) Please keep video takes around 30 seconds (but you can do as many as you like). This is keep file sizes small enough for us to use Media Fire / You Send it etc.

4) Try and keep the shots well light with as much natural light as possible – we do want to be able to make you out.

5) Compress the recording into a Zip file send it to us via Media Fire / You Send It etc. Please send all footage to kinema.info@googlemail.com ASAP!
