There are many reasons to love Dummy, not least that when they’re not interviewing and reviewing all the BRIGHT YOUNG NEXT BIG THINGS and releasing brilliant records by The Golden Filter, they allow idiots like myself to write about Freddie Mercury in great detail.

Anyhoo, it’s Friday and December and that inevitably means Xmas party time, and thankfully Dummy have been smart enough to get their’s out the way before the inevitable booze fatique kicks in around week two.

So if you’re in London tonight put on your glad rags and head up/down/laterally to Dalston and everyone’s favourite furniture shop basement/rave cave Bardens Boudoir. For the price of admission you get to see 2 bands, Everything Everything and Fiction and a whole load of DJs who I’m sure will be just swell.

Tickets seem to be available in advance from here, I’d assume you’ll still be able to just rock up and get in, errr though don’t take my word for it…

Luckily we’ve featued Everything Everything a couple of times now which means I can just re-up those tracks and get on with the important business of eating my lunch. Hurrah.
