Regular readers of these pages will be aware of our love of all things The Chap related. Probably the finest pan-European modern pop group of our age their current album ‘Well Done Europe‘ has quite clearly been one of the best things released this year.

Packed full of bona-fide big pop hits like ‘We Work In Bars’, it’s an album that has left the band jsut one X Factor performance away from Susan Boyle levels of stardom, and now they’re making a play for the MTV demographic with the video for ‘Even Your Friends’.

Probably my highlight of the album, ‘Even Your Friends’ is such a ridiculously good song that for about 3 months, despite having never shown any kind of skill or aptitude for it I’ve been dreaming about making a video for it.

Thankfully sparing me from the bemused/embarrassed silence of anyone unlucky enough to see my treatment, Non-Format have sneaked in there early with something infinitely better.
